A recreation of an early 17th Century girdle belt based on the portrait of Alice Bankes Borlase: "Alice Bankes (1621-1683), Lady Borlase by Sir Anthonis van Dyck (Kingston Lacy - Wimborne Minster, Dorset, UK".
 
This belt is an imagined recreation in pale amethyst colour which I made into a layered design with antique gold filigrees and pearls/crystals. 
 
Unlike the Tudor style this belt is mainly focussed on the waist with a short drop to the front.
 
The belt is strung with three layers of hidden strong 49 strand beading wire.
 
I can make this belt to measure if you message me with precise measurements. Alternatively I will make to a small size and add extension chain to the back so it can be adjusted to fit.
 
Stomachers and dress pins to match can be made. This price is for the belt only.
