This is my replica of the chain of office worn by King Henry VI in the portrait "1500 - 1599 Oil on oak panel at Hardwick Hall National Trust"
Henry VI (6 December 1421 – 21 May 1471) was King of England and Lord of Ireland from 1422 to 1461 and again from 1470 to 1471, and disputed King of France from 1422 to 1453. The only child of Henry V, he inherited the long-running Hundred Years' War (1337–1453), From House Lancaster (Plantagenet), Spouse Margaret of Anjou .
For this chain I have used antique gold settings with golden quatrefoils. The quatrefoils have black crystal centre squares. The chain is linked with forward and backward facing letter S connectors . From the chain hangs a central medieval cross pendant. The cross has further crystals and quatrefoil detail with faux pearls.
The chain is adjustable in size with links at the back.
