This is my own replica of the IHS Queen's brooch. This brooch features in the BBC's production of Wolf Hall, The Mirror and the Light.

The IHS Queen's brooch is worn in the portrait of Jane Seymour by Hans Holbein the Younger (1498–1543) ~ 1536

The brooch is designed to spell IHS (a monogram of the name of Jesus Christ). It may have originally belonged to Katharine of Aragon and it was then perhaps passed on as a set of the Queen’s crown jewels.”

My version of the brooch is set on gold plated multi-layered filigrees with pin brooch back. The design is set with black glass crystals and natural freshwater cultured pearls.

The piece is designed to be worn on the front of the dress and measures 65 mm wide by 80 mm long.

The brooch comes in my gift box.
