Mary I (18 February 1516 – 17 November 1558), also known as Mary Tudor, was the queen of England from July 1553 until her death. She is best known for her vigorous attempt to reverse the English Reformation, which had begun during the reign of her father, Henry VIII
I have made a portrait of Mary into a 13 x 18 mm glass oval. This is then set onto the locket which opens to reveal a quote which reads:
"In thee, O lord, is my trust, let me never be confounded: if God be for us, who can be against us?" - Queen Mary
The locket is set on an 18 inch bronze belcher chain.
