These hand crafted tie pins depict the Tudor Rose, the Lancaster Rose or the York Rose, pick your side!
I have encased the images inside 18 mm glass cabochons in silver plated settings. They have a clutch pin back and can be worn as a tie pin, lapel pin or brooch.
The rivalry between the House of Plantagenet's two cadet branches of York and Lancaster brought about the Wars of the Roses, a decades-long fight for the English succession, culminating in the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485, when the reign of the Plantagenets and the English Middle Ages both met their end with the death of King Richard III. Henry Tudor (7th) then married Elizabeth of York and the Tudor rose was formed, a combination of the white and red roses.
I also make a matching bracelet, necklace, earrings and tie pin.
