The "Elizabeth Of York" necklace. The inspiration for this piece comes from 15th Century portrait of Elizabeth, the first Tudor queen. I have used chain maille and cold enamelling techniques to craft this piece.
Antique bronze rose connectors are enamelled by hand with blue, turquoise, white and red enamel and gold paint applied to the centres. A faux pearl cabochon is added to the centre of each rose. The necklace has an ornate clasp and glass pearl teardrops set into filigree bead caps. Bronze chain to the back makes the overall necklace 18 inches long.
